Privacy policy

Effective October 13, 2026. Indiana RepTracker is operated by BD Jacksons Inc. Contact: support@billtrackindiana.net.

Information you provide

We process account information such as your name and email, authentication information, saved home address and district matches, phone number and SMS preference when provided, tracking preferences, and individual community-poll responses. Contact messages, beta applications and bug reports may include text, screenshots, photos and device diagnostics you choose to submit. Diagnostics can include device make, model, Android version and app/build information.

How we use information

We use this information to operate your account, find district representatives and ballot races, save preferences and poll responses, manage membership and Android access, provide support, diagnose faults and protect the service. Access activity and technical/security logs may be used for administration, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Cookies or similar local storage maintain sign-in sessions and saved settings.

Address and location services

Address text is sent to Geoapify when you request address suggestions. Address lookup may send your address to the U.S. Census Bureau for geocoding and district identification. A location-verification feature may request your device location after you grant permission. You can deny device location access, though location-dependent verification may then be unavailable. Signed-in addresses and district matches are saved to your account; guest settings may remain in browser storage. Maps and linked external sources may contact their own providers.

Payments and service providers

Google Play processes Android purchases and subscriptions; Stripe processes website billing. We process purchase identifiers, subscription status and entitlement information to verify access. Their payment and privacy policies also apply. Hosting, email delivery, address lookup and mapping providers process information needed to deliver their respective services. Opening external sites is subject to those sites’ policies.

Polls and public records

BillTrack polls are voluntary and unofficial. Public results are aggregated; individual account choices are not published as named votes. Legislator and campaign-finance reports use public source records and are separate from users’ private account information. Authorized administrators may access account and support information for service administration.

Retention and deletion

We keep account information while needed to provide the service. Following a verified deletion request, we delete account details, saved addresses, tracking preferences and individual poll responses within 30 days. Records required for billing, security or legal obligations may be retained for those purposes. De-identified aggregate reports may remain. Request account deletion and read the process.

Your choices and security

You can update available account settings, manage subscriptions through their payment provider, control device permissions and request access, correction or deletion through support. We use access controls and secure connections; no service can guarantee absolute security. This app is intended for adults, and is not designed for children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes and will publish its effective date here. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@billtrackindiana.net. Do not include passwords, verification codes or complete payment-card details in support messages.
